Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions to help you prepare for your dental visit.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Most patients benefit from dental check-ups and professional cleanings every six months. However, some patients with specific dental conditions may need more frequent visits. We'll recommend a personalized schedule based on your oral health needs.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call our office immediately at (770) 520-4013. For after-hours emergencies, follow the instructions on our voicemail. If you're experiencing severe pain, swelling, or bleeding that can't be controlled, go to the nearest emergency room.
How long will my appointment take?
Routine check-ups and cleanings typically take 45-60 minutes. New patient appointments usually last 60-90 minutes to allow time for a comprehensive exam and getting to know your dental needs. Treatment appointments vary based on the procedure.
Do you see children?
Yes! We welcome patients of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Our team is experienced in providing gentle, age-appropriate dental care for children in a friendly, comfortable environment.
